Today the truth finally dawned on us. After having spent a weekend wondering where one my best friend’s room mates had vanished, we got the answer we least expected. We had gone through a dozen scenarios, but nothing prepared us for this. It made no sense and to a large extent it still feels completely surreal. Our friend had passed away.

After a short summer break, Home Studio has finally been upgraded to 2.7. You can see a list of the changes here.
In the process of upgrading bits and pieces of the web site I managed to kill my portfolio. Note to self: if something works - don’t mess with it!
I’m sure the new version of gallery software I was using would have brought many advantages compared to the outdated one which has now been blown up to pieces, but I figured the time I would have had to spend trying to fix the new one could be invested elsewhere.

I can’t believe over half a year has passed since my last update. When I first put up my blog I was syked at the idea I would finally be able to start writing up all kinds of things to keep this site alive. As it turns out I’ve been so busy and preoccupied that I simply haven’t had the time to do any of that! Changes are coming though, so be patient!

I read through the preview of this remarkable piece of technology on DPreview.com and immediately knew this was the camera I had been waiting for.
I quickly placed an order on Verkkokauppa.com and sat waiting patiently for the first batch to arrive. Little did I know, Verkkokauppa actually orders these things themselves instead of going through the main importer so they ended up getting a batch earlier than other companies.
