Home Studio v3
A new version of this website is on the way! The new edition will focus more on dynamic content and feature a brand new layout using HTML5 and CSS3.
The basic wire-frame version of HS4 is already ready so I’d expect the changes to be visible in the next couple of weeks.
Just to let you know that I’m still here and waiting impatiently for my summer holidays to start.
Hopefully you all had a good time on the 31st. I have a feeling 2009 will be an important year. Lots of things to look forward to, not least the new president of the United States. I hope the joy and excitement that so many Americans feel at the moment can bring about many good things in the years to come.
Today I set out on a new journey to Africa. My travels will take me to the heights of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. From there, I fly to the fertile lands of the Selous Game Reserve in Tanzania. Finally I visit the colourful island of Zanzibar, before eventually returning to Addis via Dar Es Salaam.
This is a short summary of my trip.
I still find it hard to believe I will get a chance to visit Addis Ababa again. This will be the second time I spend Christmas in a nice sunny environment – something which probably every Finn dreams during the dark days of December!
After half a year of development and testing, the third edition of Home Studio is finally here! Version 3 brings in lots of new features such as a new portfolio, a shoutbox, on-the-fly translation (for blog posts) and of course a brand new look!
After a short summer break, Home Studio has finally been upgraded to 2.7. You can see a list of the changes here.
In the process of upgrading bits and pieces of the web site I managed to kill my portfolio. Note to self: if something works – don’t mess with it! 
I’m sure the new version of gallery software I was using would have brought many advantages compared to the outdated one which has now been blown up to pieces, but I figured the time I would have had to spend trying to fix the new one could be invested elsewhere.
I can’t believe over half a year has passed since my last update. When I first put up my blog I was syked at the idea I would finally be able to start writing up all kinds of things to keep this site alive. As it turns out I’ve been so busy and preoccupied that [...]
Finally the moment I have been waiting for. A new start for a new year. My photography is about to go through some major conceptual changes. Rather than keeping them all to myself, I’ve decided to release them all under a new license. In short, I’m dropping the copyright trags and adopting a license provided by Creative Commons instead!
